Our Story

Wedding Hair And Makeup Artists (WHAM) are the leading bridal hair and make up company in the UK.

Amanda Moorhouse, head of the WHAM team and also the founder of Lipstick & Curls,studied hair and make up at the London College of Fashion and has since worked for 20 years in fashion, media and the bridal industry. She is the hair and make up artist of choice for many celebrities and has worked for large publications and brands.

At we are passionate about our bridal service and the bridal industry. We have over 20 years experience working closely with both artists and brides and have an outstanding reputation in the business. 

We are extremely proud of our talented team of over 100 artists, all of whom have been hand-picked from across the UK. WHAM artists are highly skilled in all aspects of hair and make up styling including modern, vintage, alternative and classic, and are fully trained, fully insured and fully qualified to a high standard. Our team are super friendly and have a great deal of experience with working with brides on their special day. 

We offer a wide range of bridal services, which include lash extensions, hair extensions, manicure, brow grooming and more. We can also accommodate all sizes of bridal groups and will supply additional artists accordingly.
